I create abstract art for several reasons. First, abstract art comes from within, deep down in my heart and no one else is painting the same subject matter resulting in original art that is not contrived. The purpose of abstract is to make you think about how to put emotions and feelings by using colors, shapes and texture. In thinking one must let go and use the imagination that is inside if each of us, We must learn how to use it just as we did as a child making things out of the clouds. Abstract art certainly is different which makes the art unique.

Not all minds think alike and in painting abstract, most people do not understand it so I have the opportunity to explain the meaning with people from all over and instill excitement within them because each painting comes with a very powerful story which grabs your emotions and feelings as many have very powerful statements. This creates a bond and those purchasing my abstract paintings rarely tire of the art and may be passed down to generations to come.
